An error in the automated system the University of Alabama uses to share COVID-19 test results caused over 7,500 people to receive erroneous information.

An email with negative results was sent to over 7,500 individuals between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Monday, January 18th, including those who had tested positive for the novel Coronavirus and those who had not recently been tested for the virus.
