The very first Third Thursday Songwriter’s Showcase is happening tomorrow, March 16th at Black Warrior Brewing Company on University Boulevard!

This monthly event will feature local and Nashville based singer/songwriters in what is known as a “round”. Singing their songs, telling stories and musically accompanying each other. Artists attending this month include Victoria Camp, Sarah Ferguson, Megan McMillan, Mamie Gardner, Jackson Capps, and Bubba Hall.

There is no cover charge to enjoy the show and everyone is welcome. First artists start at 7 pm!

Now, here’s the plus, a portion of everything you buy from Black Warrior Brewing Company on March 16th will go to benefit a new Tuscaloosa charity called Angel’s Hope. You don’t have to make a donation or pay a cover, just come, enjoy a few beers and listen to the music!

Angel’s Hope is a new non-profit based in Tuscaloosa that looks to fulfill the dreams of Hillcrest Graduate Angel Eaton, who lost her battle with cancer in September 2017 at just 18-years-old. Throughout her fight, Angel never lost her will to live, and she never lost her desire to help other children and families who were fighting their own battle. Using the name “Angel’s Little Rays of Sunshine,” she collected various items to donate to the hematology/oncology floor at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham. She donated food for the food pantry, toiletry bags for parents and gift cards and toys for the kids.

See you tomorrow night!
