Investigators in Tuscaloosa have charged one man with felony murder and first-degree robbery and another with first-degree hindering prosecution after a fatal shooting at an apartment complex Sunday night.

Captain Jack Kennedy, the commander of the multi-agency Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, said police believe the victim, 21-year-old Darius Garner, was being robbed when he was shot and killed Sunday at the Legacy at Country Club Apartments on Mimosa Park Road.

After interviewing witnesses and processing the scene, investigators arrested Jacorri Keandre Spencer, 21, and charged him with felony murder and first-degree armed robbery. He will be transported to the Tuscaloosa County Jail, where his bond will be set at $210,000.

Investigators also arrested Geunte Dayshaun Constant, 23, and charged with with first-degree hindering prosecution. Constant's bond was set at $15,000.
