NBA Legend Surprises Alabama State Trooper with Unexpected Birthday Gift
While enjoying birthday dinner with his girlfriend at Chuck's Fish in Birmingham, Lieutenant David Steward saw someone familiar across the room.
That person ended up being 2-time Olympic gold medal winner, member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and Leeds, Alabama native Charles Barkley!
When he heard that the Alabama Law Enforcement Agent was celebrating his birthday, Barkley unexpectedly purchased Steward a bottle of Cakebread Cellars wine! The NBA superstar even topped off the surprise by signing the bottle.
