Vince Gill's family is growing: His daughter, singer-songwriter Jenny Gill, is expecting her second child.

Jenny Gill revealed her pregnancy on Facebook on Saturday (July 8): "Well, it's official," she wrote. "Baby #2 arriving January 2018! #herewegoagain"

Jenny Gill is Vince Gill's oldest daughter; her mother is Sweethearts of the Rodeo‘s Janis Oliver, Vince Gill's ex-wife. Jenny Gill is married to Josh Van Valkenburg, a senior vice president at Sony-ATV. Together, they also have a son, Wyatt, who was born in August of 2014.

In February, Jenny Gill released her debut EP, The House Sessions. In an interview with The Boot at that time, Gill admitted that she feels blessed to have her parents; her stepmother, Amy Grant; and her husband -- all in the music business -- on her side, though she also feels quite a bit of pressure because of it.

“I wanted to see if there was anything I was good at that wasn’t the music industry,” Gill says to explain why it took her so long to release an EP, “and so I spent a lot of time trying to carve out my own place in other areas, and it never turned into anything.”

However, it was Wyatt's birth that made Gill realize it was time for her to try music: “Wyatt really made me want to do something that he would be proud of, because that’s the way I feel about my parents,” she notes, “and I just wanted to be a good example for him.”
