Possible Timeline and Threats

James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist said that “the window for the heavier storms will come from about 12 noon to 8 p.m. The main threat will come from strong straight-line winds and hail and an isolated tornado can’t be ruled out, but for the moment conditions don’t seem especially favorable for tornado formation with the better shear and dynamics to the north.”

Be sure to stay weather aware as weather information and guidance on this incoming system could change due to numerous variables. As always we will bring you updates over the weekend on the Tuscaloosa Thread as well as our Townsquare Media Radio Stations.
