Both Directions of McFarland Boulevard to Close This Weekend

The Alabama Department of Transportation has planned roadwork that will result in the closure of McFarland Boulevard this weekend.

ALDOT will be completing work at the interchange of Interstate 20/59 and McFarland Boulevard. All lanes of McFarland Boulevard that pass underneath the I-20/59 bridge will be closed while project work is underway.

The closures will be in effect from 11 p.m. Friday, September 25, through 5 a.m. Monday, September 28th.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes such as I-359 or Skyland Boulevard.
