Stewie Is This Week's Pet Of The Week

One of my favorite pets was my dog named Blue. He had icy blue eyes and was a midnight black chow. He loved to play and was always ready for any attention my family or I would give him. It's really crazy but you can really feel the energy of your pets. Every week we share a new pet who is looking for a new home fro our friends at the Humane Society Of West Alabama. This week's HSWA Pet of the Week is Stewie.

Stewie is a 3-year old male Labrador/terrier mix who was recently rescued from a local dog-hoarding case. The healthy weight we are aiming to achieve for him is 30-35 pounds. He is a playful and social dog who has a great, fun energy to him. He is incredibly smart and thrives on attention. You'll know he is happy when his big ears sit straight up and he flashes his million-dollar smile. Stewie is a little bit jumpy, but that's just his excitement showing. He would love a fenced-in yard or frequent walks to help expel some of his energy.

Stewie is up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped. If you are interested in giving this handsome guy with the big ears a home filled with love, call us at 205-554-0011 or email humaneswa@yahoo.com to request an appointment to see him. Our adoption fee is $75.
