5-Star Jeremiah Alexander De-Commits From Tide
Alexander originally committed to the Crimson Tide in March 2020 after attending a Junior Day event. He was first offered a scholarship by Alabama in 2019 as a sophomore.
He is starting for the 10-0 Thompson Warriors, the top-ranked team in Alabama 7A football. His Warriors just finished the regular season undefeated and are attempting to defend its 2019 state championship.
Alexander's Warriors will open the playoffs by hosting the 5-4 Grissom Tigers on Nov 6.
His de-commitment leaves just 4-star inside linebacker Robert Woodyard out of Williamson High School in Mobile, Alabama as the only member in the 2022 recruiting class so far.
Alexander currently also has scholarship offers from Auburn, Georgia, Florida, LSU and many more. Alexander earned 7A First-Team Defense last year as a sophomore
Despite the de-commitment, the 6-foot-2 defensive end is still being recruited by cornerback coach Karl Scott and outside linebacker coach Sal Sunseri.
