Jerome Bettis Jr. announced on Twitter that he would be coming to Tuscaloosa over the weekend for the program's Junior Day celebrations. Bettis Jr. is a sophomore wide receiver out of Atlanta and is the son of NFL Hall of Famer Jerome Bettis.

Jamarion Miller signed his letter of intent to join the Alabama Crimson Tide today. December 15 is the first day that high school seniors can officially sign with their new college programs. Miller is a 4-star athlete out of Tyler Legacy High School in Tyler, Texas. He is ranked the 86th overall recruit in the nation and the No. 16 overall recruit in the state of Texas according to 247sports.
The No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide is set to take on the No. 11 Florida Gators in "The Swamp" to open up SEC play for both schools. While its important to each program to start the season 1-0 in conference play they'll also be competing to impress several up and coming recruits.
