TPD Issues AMBER Alert for Infant In Car Stolen Sunday
UPDATE 9:10 P.M.: A police spokesperson said the child has been found safe.
The Tuscaloosa Police Department has issued an AMBER Alert for an infant who was in the back of a vehicle stolen from a local grocery store Sunday.
Stephanie Taylor, a department spokeswoman, said the 16-month-old boy was in the back of a Ford Expedition stolen from the parking lot of the Lucky Dollar on Crescent Ridge Road.
The SUV is red over tan in color, Taylor said.
The missing child is a Black baby boy who was wearing a white sleeveless shirt and Nike shoes.
Anyone who sees this toddler or infant is implored to call the Tuscaloosa Police Department at 205-349-2121.
