Three-Vehicle Crash Sunday Claims Life of a Vance Woman
Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating a crash the occurred late Sunday evening on Highway 11, one mile north of Vance.
According to Senior Trooper Reginald King,
Kathy Elizabeth Vines, 46, was killed when the 1999 Toyota Camry she was driving collided head-on with a 2007 GMC Yukon. Vines, who was not using a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Yukon was injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment. The preliminary investigation indicates that a 2009 Dodge was struck by the Camry prior to the Camry colliding with the Yukon. The crash occurred on U.S. 11 near the 102 mile marker. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
