According To The Associate Press, an Alabama Mountain Climber has died near the summit of Mount Everest, and an Indian climber is still missing, after heading down from the mountain following a successful climb, said expedition organizers earlier Today.

Roland Yearwood, 50, from Georgiana, Alabama, died on the mountain Sunday. but other details were not immediately known at press time, according to Expedition Officials.  Authorities also revealed that Indian Climber Ravi Kamar reportedly fell sick on his way down from the summit the day before, (Saturday), and did not make it to the nearest camp.

Helicopter rescue teams have been sent to the mountain to assist in the search of the missing Indian Climber.
