
Shocking Video Shows Kingsnake Strangling Camden, Alabama Copperhead
An Alabama woman's video has gone viral after she captured footage of a kingsnake strangling a copperhead during an epic backyard battle.

The video was shot in Camden, Alabama, a small town between Thomasville and Selma. Karen Vick Scarborough was able to capture a truly unique moment--the footage below shows a copperhead snake being devoured by a kingsnake.
Kingssnakes are a non-venomous species that is able to kill venomous snakes. Copperheads are numerous in the South and although their bites are typically nonfatal, a Tuscaloosa man was killed after a copperhead bite in 2019
