More About S.D. Allen Ministries

This community-based ministry is known for the hashtag #offthefloor. The “S.D. Allen Ministries is a collective furniture donation and delivery ministry, a student missionary program, and Rehab & Repair Ministry started by Calvary Baptist Church in 2013.”

How was the Ministry Created?

According to the press release, “when the 2011 tornado devastated Tuscaloosa, it opened their eyes to a crushing reality: many Tuscaloosa community members did not have the savings or support to refurnish their homes. Thus, S.D. Allen furniture ministries were born.”
