The city of Northport announced plans Thursday morning to bring back its free Groove & Grub event next month.

The first iteration of the event took place in June and offered an evening of free live music with food trucks on-site for attendees to patronize.

The event will return on Tuesday, September 13 from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. The city also said there is availability for five food trucks to join in on the fun.

Food truck owners interested in being a part of the event should contact Whitney Bostick, wbostick@cityofnorthport.org to obtain more information on registering for the event. The entertainment will be announced closer to the day of the event.

The event will take place at the same location as in June, at 1400 3rd Street in Northport in the greenspace between Matthews Elementayr School and Collin's Riverside Intermediate School.

Entry is once again free of charge.
