Weather Update for Monday, November 11th
Today we start off with mostly sunny skies with a high near 68. Then clouds will increase and then we will have a 30% chance of showers in the late afternoon. Tonight, the low will be near 35 with showers.
Heads up for Tuesday, the National Weather Service, as issued a Freeze Warning in effect from 3 am Tuesday until 10 am Wednesday for the following counties: Cherokee-Cleburne-Pickens-Tuscaloosa-Jefferson-Shelby-St. Clair-Talladega-Clay-Sumter-Greene-Hale-Bibb. You can expect a low around 26 Tuesday morning with a low Wednesday morning around 17. Tuesday will be a very cold day, and there is a chance for rain. As of right now in the early morning there is a low possibility but a small chance for some sleet or freezing rain. A few spots might even see a snowflake. I will keep you updated if this outlook changes.
To all our Veterans, I wish you a Happy Veterans Day. Thank you for your service today and always.
