James Spann: ‘Severe Weather Threat Is Ending Now in Tuscaloosa’
It appears that severe weather threat originally forecasted for Tuscaloosa Wednesday afternoon is coming to a close.
According to a Tweet from ABC 33/40 Chief Meteorologist James Spann, "The severe weather threat is ending now in Tuscaloosa as the dryline moves east of the city. Severe threat continues along and east of I-65."
As a result, Mayor Maddox and the City of Tuscaloosa have also made the decision to close area storm shelters.
