Graduation season is underway in West Alabama.

The spring commencement for The University of Alabama is from May 3 through 5. The eight ceremonies will take place at Coleman Coliseum, located on the UA campus.

It will no doubt be a busy weekend in Tuscaloosa, as it is expected that 6,000 students will be graduating this year, with about “5,400 of those participating in these ceremonies. Each year, UA awards around 9,000 degrees and of the graduates that may be tracked since 2015, 52% remain in Alabama,” said UA News Center.
