With so many players leaving the University of Alabama declaring for the NFL Draft, it’s safe to say that a big payday could be right around the corner for these young men.

Coming out of college, many players don’t see that kind of money until they sign that major deal in the NFL. So now the big question is obvious.

How do you spend your first $1 million?

In Jalen’s case, he seemed to spend his doing a number of things from shopping sprees, to charitable acts and of course, savings.

In an interview with GQ Magazine, Hurts revealed that his first expenses were fashion. He dropped $30,000 on clothes, shoes, and even a minor $13 on an authentic Philly cheesesteak.

A few of his highest expenses from his first $1million came from charitable donations and saving for his little sister’s tuition which he plans to give her a total of $70k. Here’s a brief breakdown of how Jalen Hurts spent some of his first $1million.

$20k business fees

$10k training and self-care routines

$15k for his mom’s home improvement projects

$1k brother’s wedding gift

$10k car payment

$15k future vacation plans

$70k for his little sister’s tuition

$60k charitable donations

$30k living expenses

Jalen ended up saving a lot of his first $1 million paycheck. He even offered some advice to incoming NFL rookies.

“If I could give any advice to a rookie coming into the NFL, having this amount of money for the first time ever in your life, be wise with your choices and decisions," said Hurts.

"I know you have things that you've always dreamed of having maybe, and that's perfect like, go get it.....But also be smart and mindful and prepared. It goes by quick."
