The University of Tennessee football team is in a state of transition after the recent firing of head coach Jeremy Pruitt and athletic director Phillip Fulmer. A number of Tennessee football players have entered their names into the NCAA transfer portal with NCAA investigations closing in on Knoxville and likely punishment looming for the program. According to Al.com's Matt Zenitz, one of the players who entered the transfer portal today is former Crimson Tide recruiting target, linebacker Henry To'o To'o.

To'o To'o led the Vols in tackles last season as a sophomore, totaling 76 tackles with 10 for a loss, with one sack and one interception which he took for a touchdown. To'o To'o was named a Freshman All-American by 247Sports and The Athletic and he was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team by the coaches for his 2019 season.

A native of Concord, California, To'o To'o went to De La Salle High School, a top football program in the country. He was considered a four-star recruit by 247Sports and rated as the No. 3 outside linebacker in the nation. He ultimately chose to sign with the Tennessee Vols leaving the Alabama Crimson Tide the runners up for his services.

Current Crimson Tide defensive coordinator, Pete Golding served as his primary recruiter with now Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian operating in a secondary role to try to convince him to come to Tuscaloosa.

The NCAA could grant immediate eligibility to Tennessee football players opting to transfer out of Knoxville with the Vols facing possible punishment from the NCAA. This possibility makes To'o To'o one of the more coveted transfers in this year's cycle should he choose to pursue a new school.
