Crew Escapes Injury After Plane Crash Lands in Tuscaloosa
No one was hurt Monday night when a cargo plane's front landing gear failed and the aircraft crash landed at the Tuscaloosa Regional Airport.
Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox said on Twitter that the airport's primary runway will be closed until further notice as officials work out how to remove the disabled plane.
Maddox also commended the efforts of the Tuscaloosa Fire & Rescue Service for keeping the situation contained and controlled.
