Calm Winds And A High Near 75

Today, you can expect calm winds and a high near 75.  Also, depending on your location, you will see a mix between partly cloudy and partly sunny skies.  Also, we cannot rule out a chance of showers. Tonight, the low will be around 63 with calm winds.  There is a 60% chance of showers, which at this time most likely will occur after Midnight.

Find your umbrella and be prepared for Tuesday.  The entire state of Alabama should expect showers and possible thunderstorms.  As of right now, there no severe weather expected.  However, there is a slight chance of flash flooding for some parts of Alabama.  I will keep a watch on those risk levels.  Tuesday, the high will be near 71 with a low near 62.

Race Fans Update: yesterday’s rain in Talladega forced a postponement of the race.  According to the NASCAR website, “Rain pushes Monster Energy Series race at Talladega to Monday finish” and “the race is set to resume Monday at 2 p.m. ET,” which is today at 1 p.m. locally for central time zone.

Have a great Monday - @MaryKRadio
