Annual Christmas Lighted Boat Parade in Gulf Shores Goes Virtual

As Alabamians are singing Christmas songs, holiday lights are going up everywhere. It really creates the magic of the Christmas season.

I have the best memories of going to look at Christmas lights with my family. We would kick off the holiday season by going to the holiday boat show in Pompano Beach, Florida. I still have dreams of being on a boat entry.

I was so excited to find out that there is a boat parade at one of my favorite Alabama location, Gulf Shores. The annual Christmas Lighted Boat Paraded happens this Saturday, December 12th, and kicks off at 4:30 pm. If you plan on going in person, “the boats will leave LuLu’s Gulf Shores at dusk and head to the Wharf in Orange Beach. Great viewing locations include LuLu’s, Tacky Jacks Gulf Shores, Acme Oyster House, and The Wharf. You may also line up down Canal Road to watch the boats go by.”

Here is the best news if you can’t make it down to visit the boat parade in person. “The Lighted Boat Parade will be streaming LIVE on Facebook beginning at 4:30 pm.” Yay!!!!!! I am thrilled about this. LuLu’s even reminds us to get our “hot cocoa and snuggle up on the couch to watch the show.”  Click here for the Facebook LIVE event page.

Since I can’t make it down for the boat parade, I will be watching the live stream on Facebook! It sounds like so much fun!
