5,000 FREE Trees Up for Grabs from the City of Tuscaloosa
Tuscaloosa is getting ready for Arbor Week and the City plans to celebrate in a special way--They're giving out 5,000 FREE tree seedlings!
The City of Tuscaloosa has partnered with the Alabama Forestry Commission and Alabama Power for the annual giveaway. You'll be able to get a FREE tree seedling at the Tuscaloosa River Market on Saturday, February 24th, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Seedlings will be available in a wide variety of trees. They'll have red maple, crepe myrtle, live oak, white oak, saw tooth oak, holly, redbud, bald cypress, nuttall oak, and overcup oak. Tree seedlings will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis.
