Traffic has been at a standstill on I-20/59 West for most of the day Wednesday after two commercial vehicles collided, including one that was carrying livestock.

To make matters worse, a second accident overturned a tractor trailer on U.S. Highway 11, where authorities had been diverting interstate traffic while the wreck there was cleared.

With both traffic on both routes still snarled as the aftermath of the accidents is cleaned up, motorists traveling west out of Tuscaloosa can expect major delays.
