
Wind Advisory in Effect Until 6 PM Tonight
Strong winds are possible throughout the day, and the National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Wind Advisory in effect until 6 p.m. tonight.
The full text of the advisory is below:
...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CDT THIS EVENING... * TIMING...will continue through Friday afternoon. * WINDS...will be between 15 and 25 MPH with gusts up to 35 MPH. * IMPACTS...of the strong winds may break small limbs and cause hazardous driving conditions. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Wind Advisory means that wind gusts of 35 MPH are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult...especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
