West End Shooting Injures One
Gunfire broke out in Tuscaloosa last night, making it the second shooting incident to happen in the Druid City within the past two days.
The Tuscaloosa Police Department reports officers were investigating a shooting in the area of Park and Elm Streets last (Tuesday, June 23) night, near Kaulton Park in the West End neighborhood.
One person was sent to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment of gunshot injuries. The shooting is still under investigation.
On Monday (June 22) night, a young child was struck by gunfire at a shootout near Crescent East Apartments.
