Tuscaloosa Police Believe Man Was Shot in Home Invasion

A 37-year-old Tuscaloosa man was shot late Monday night when two men kicked in the backdoor of his girlfriend's home. 

The victim, whose name hasn't been released, is recovering at DCH from a gunshot wound to the chest and expected to survive.

The apparent home invasion happened at 1300 Hargrove Road. Tuscaloosa police say the investigation is ongoing as they look for the two suspects.
