I can not handle a roach at my favorite eating establishment in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This breaks my heart. One of my absolute FAVORITE restaurants was CLOSED DOWN recently because of a "roach infestation" according to the Alabama Department of Public Health.

I have lived in Alabama since 1988 and I never dreamed these problems would show up in Dixieland. Halloween candy tainted with fentanyl was a real threat across the USA. Drug cartels were reportedly trying to inject the deadly drug into candy coming across the border.

We love our local businesses, especially our local eateries. Recently, I wrote a story on local restaurants (as well as others across Alabama) and the latest scores from the Health Department. Many restaurants were mentioned, but The Blue Plate in Northport got the most attention.

Some of the best food in the world is found in the great state of Alabama.

Just when I thought the weirdness of 2021 was gone for good... Now this happens. An Alabama teenager was watching a movie at an Alabama AMC Theatres location, and got the shock of his young life. The teenager was trying to watch a screening of the #1 movie, "Spider-Man: No Way Home", while eating some theatre popcorn.
