Shenandoah Hitting the Road for 30th Anniversary Tour
Iconic country group Shenandoah have announced a 2017 tour to celebrate their third decade in the music industry. The band will hit the road on their Shenandoah 30th Anniversary Tour in January, bringing their classic country sound to fans all over the country ... and Switzerland, too!
After kicking off on Jan. 22 in Annapolis, Md., the Shenandoah 30th Anniversary Tour will continue throughout 2017. In addition to dates in North America, the band will also perform two concerts in Zürich, Switzerland; a complete list of currently announced shows is below, and more are to be announced.
Shenandoah's 30th Anniversary Tour will feature the band's original lead singer, Marty Raybon, who rejoined the group in 2015.
"After 29 years in the music business, we find ourselves more determined than ever before," says Raybon in a press release. "The past helps us to realize where we've been and sets our vision to where we want to be. Our mission in 2017, with new music, is to expand our fanbase while continuing to enjoy the performances and making our 30th year the best ever."
Best known for No. 1 hits from the '80s and '90s such as "Sunday in the South" (1989) and "Next to You, Next to Me" (1990), Shenandoah have released nine studio albums since beginning their career in 1987. Visit ShenandoahBand.com for more details about the tour.
