
One Victim from Monday’s Fatal Crash Has Been Identified
A fatal accident Monday on Highway 69 South at Upper Hills Road left two dead and traffic at a stand still.
The two vehicle crash occurred around 3:30 pm Monday near the Highway 69 South 135 mile marker. Authorities have said that a GMC Envoy and Dodge Charger collided causing the GMC to catch fire, killing both the driver and passenger.
Alabama State Troopers have identified one of the victims as 36-year-old Ascencion Marcelo Roque Jimenez of Moundville. The identity of the GMC driver is not yet known.
