New Family Entertainment Center To Bring Bowling, Mini-Golf and Laser Tag to Tuscaloosa
A$6 million, 51,000 square-foot family entertainment center known called Shindig is coming to Tuscaloosa this fall, developers announced Monday.
Steve Williams, the owner and operator of Shindig, said the new facility will feature bowling, black light golf, laser tag, arcades, a restaurant, bar and more.
"We wanted to bring a one-of-kind family entertainment facility to Tuscaloosa," Williams said. "Without a doubt, Shindig will allow the great folks of Tuscaloosa an opportunity for food and beverages, games, birthday parties and meeting places. It will be the place to be while watching the Crimson Tide, or to relax and enjoy time with family and friends."
The massive center is coming to 5800 McFarland Boulevard, across the street from Townsend Ford.
Williams said the facility will offer fun the whole family and could draw some of the area's league bowlers away from Bowlero, the new bowling facility that opened in Tuscaloosa in April.
"We will have some incredible bowling lanes and hope to attract out local leagues to our facility," Williams said.
The facility is expected to open this fall.
