In a recent article, Bleacher Report ranked Alabama CB Josh Jobe as one of the top 10 returning seniors for the 2021 season.

In first season as a starter, Jobe registered 55 tackles, 2.5 for loss, two sacks, two forced fumbles and 11 pass breakups. He was named the Thorpe Award's player of the week for his performance against LSU and earned honorable mention All-American honors from Pro Football Focus.

Jobe came to Tuscaloosa as a four-star recruit in the 2018 recruiting cycle. 247Sports ranked Jobe as the No. 7 corner nationally, 47th-rated player overall and the top ranked player in the state of Connecticut.  He was a part of a recruiting class that featured fellow cornerbacks Patrick Surtain II and Jalyn Armour-Davis.

The Miami native appeared in 14 games as a true freshman in a reserve role. He saw extended playing in national championship game against Clemson after Savion Smith suffered an injury. He finished the season with eight tackles.

As a sophomore, Jobe appeared in 12 games, making two starts. He totaled 28 tackles three pass breakups, one fumble recovery and an interception. Jobe led all Alabama players with seven tackles on special teams. His play in 2019 propelled him into a starting position last season.

Jobe had a tough assignment all 2020 playing opposite of future first-round pick Patrick Surtain II. With teams shying away from Surtain II, teams often tested Jobe on the other side. He was named one of the defensive players of the week by the Tide coaches for his play against Missouri, Mississippi State, Auburn and Notre Dame last season.

The Alabama Crimson Tide received its rings for the 2020 season and the team ate the Steak and Beans Dinner. The White team celebrated its 13-10 victory over the Crimson team by having steak to the Crimson's beans.
