
Tuscaloosa’s One Place Hosts Free Job Readiness Lunch & Learn
If you are looking for a job or thinking of getting into another line of work, Tuscaloosa’s One Place is ready to help you.

Held on Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Lunch & Learn ‘Job Readiness’ class is a four-week program focused on preparing participants for long-term employment success. According to the press release, the course is “designed to help participants gain the skills and confidence needed to get the job and keep the job.”
The goal is to give attendees the skills and confidence to get hired. During the class structure, you will receive free lunch, build a resume & cover letter, practice mock interviews, understand job etiquette and professionalism, and receive one-on-one job coaching and support.
Eligible individuals must currently receive SNAP or be eligible (they can help you apply), be ready to commit to improving your future, and be looking for employment, training, or career advancement.
