Alabama Offices: The 9 Germiest/Dirty Spots

I am not trying to turn you into a germaphobe, but this is info you need to know.
Research has revealed the nine germiest spots in your office.
1. Door Handles. They’re usually the germiest because everyone touches them. Makes sense. Especially bathroom door handles. Not everybody washes their hands.
2. Your Keyboard. There are usually over 3000 microscopic organisms living in every square inch of the average keyboard, according to Huffington Post research.
3. Your Desk. It’s covered with your own germs, plus any you pick up on your hands and arms.
4. The shared microwave and fridge. Everyone touched those handles and buttons. And you’re about to eat.
5. The water cooler. The spot you touch has germs on it. And water tanks may not be clean.
6. The bathroom. They probably aren’t cleaned as often as they should be. And ladies DO NOT sit your purse on the floor or counter.
7. Elevator buttons. Use your knuckle instead of your fingertip. Lots of dirty fingers touch those rarely cleaned buttons.
8. Vending machines. Worse than elevator buttons. They have more nooks and crannies where germs can hide.
9. Your phone. All the germs you pick up from the 8 spots identified above eventually end up on your phone.
A wise investment is Germ X. Get it for your desk. Get it for your briefcase. Get it for your purse. This is not a compensated endorsement. Just common sense.
