Two Alabama defensive backs have made the Lott Trophy Watch List.

Alabama Athletics announced that Kool-Aid McKinstry and Malachi Moore landed on the prestigious watch list via social media on Friday.

McKinstry had a career-best season last year, seeing time on both defense and special teams. He became the main punt returner, attempting 21 returns for 332 yards, as well as recorded 35 total tackles (29 solo and six assisted), two tackles for loss for 16 yards, one sack for 12 yards, 16 passes defended, and one interception.

Moore was an asset to the Crimson Tide defensive last year, appearing in 13 games and recording 31 total tackles (19 solo and 12 assisted), 1.5 tackles for loss for 12 yards, 1.5 sacks for 12 yards, and five passes defended.

Alabama has had two Lott Trophy winners in the history of the award, DeMeco Ryans in 2005 and Will Anderson in 2022.
