Alabama Cornerback Heads Into Transfer Portal Before A-Day
The Alabama is just days away from its annual A-Day spring scrimmage but the Crimson Tide sees its second member enter the transfer portal before the spring practice season is over.
According to Matt Zenitz of On3Sports, redshirt junior cornerback Jahquez Robinson has opted to enter the transfer portal.
Robinson was a 4-star recruit in the class of 2020 out of Jacksonville, Fl., he appeared in eight games as a reserve and a special teamer.
The 6-foot-2 corner is credited with two total tackles and a sack during his time with the Crimson Tide.
He follows tight end Elijah Brown who also went into the transfer portal this week.
Alabama is expecting to play Kool-Aid McKinstry and Terrion Arnold in the top two cornerback positions in 2023, but Earl Little Jr., Tre'Quon Fegans and Antonio Kite will also do their best to earn playing time.
The Alabama Crimson Tide concludes the spring practice season on Saturday with A-Day. Bryant-Denny Stadium will host the event, which is free for fans, beginning at 2 p.m.
