I’m all about getting a massage. Call me Mary “Massage” K. Until the pandemic hit; I was getting a monthly massage. No phone or distractions, just relaxation. It is pure bliss. You want to show me you care, send me to get a massage or give me one.

According to the National Holistic Institute, I am one of the folks that make up the “approximately 47.5 million people had a total of 214 million massages in the U.S. in 2018.” This means a couple of things, that business is boomin’ and a great potential career path.

There are all types of massages, like Swedish, deep-tissue, shiatsu, hot stone, and then there is the Tommy Jay massage. I’m ashamed to admit this, but I spent a significant amount of time watching his massage videos. Now all my friends are talking about let's book a girls trip to visit Tommy Jay.

Check out his services.

I love it. Tommy Jay is creative and giving another spin to massages by providing more of an experience. He had me at “body service” and “good scenery.”  There are cool services you can add on, like hookah, food, and dessert. I’m here for a good chocolate-covered strawberry.

Now some wonder if getting this type of massage is considered cheating.

Tons of people have weighed in on the subject. Even celebs.

I was on the phone with my friend, and she was like, Oh my, he took his shirt off!

I may or may not have booked my plane ticket for this adventure. I don’t think it’s cheating because (at the moment) I'm single. My opinion could change if I'm boo'd up.  What say you? Click here to email me.
