Four former Alabama golfers will be competing in the year's second golf major this week at the U.S. Open.

The group is headlined by four-time PGA Tour winner Justin Thomas, who ranks second in the FedExCup standings. The 24-year-old is enjoying a breakout year that includes three victories and a round of 59 in January. Thomas is one of the top players in this week's field with odds to win at 33-1.

Two of his teammates from the Crimson Tide's 2013 national championship team will also tee it up at Erin Hills on Thursday. Trey Mullinax, who has two top-20s on the PGA Tour this year, shot 8-under in the Memphis qualifier to earn his spot, while Dru Love made it in as an alternate and will have his dad, Davis Love III, caddying for him.

The fourth player in the field from the University of Alabama is Bud Cauley and few players on tour are playing as well as the six-year pro. Since missing back-to-back cuts in early April, Cauley reeled off four straight top-10 finishes to climb into the top 100 of the Official World Golf Rankings and the top 50 in the FedExCup.

Tee times get underway at 6:45 AM on Thursday and you can see the full list here.
