Fans hoping to have their own copy of Dolly Parton's heartwarming film Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love are in luck, as the DVD is available in stores on Dec. 20, just in time for the holidays.

Parton's film is now available in Digital HD at iTunes, Amazon and
Microsoft, as well as on DVD & Blu-Ray through Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart and Target.

Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love tells the story of Parton's humble upbringing in the mountains of Tennessee. The film centers around a devastating blizzard one Christmas that has the family praying for their lives. In an interview with Taste of Country, Parton discussed the difficulties she has in watching certain portions of the movie. One of the moments she says was most emotional to relive was a scene where her family is freezing to death during the bad winter storm.

Dolly Parton to the Rescue for Gatlinburg Fire Victims

“We were so cold and we were trapped in our house. The snow had blocked us in because we boarded up the windows because of the wind and the cold, not knowing it was going to be a blizzard,” she tells Taste of Country with tears in her eyes. “We had run out of everything, so when we got into the part when Mama was praying and the tears froze on our little faces, when I was watching that … it’s a good kind of pain. It’s sweet sorrow. I guess Parton is such sweet sorrow.”

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film earned 11.4 million viewers and a 1.8 ratings share in the adults aged 18-49 demographic. The success garnered NBC its highest-rated Wednesday night of the 2016-2017 television season. NBC is set to re-air the two-hour special on Dec. 23 at 9PM ET.
