Alabama Governor Kay Ivey amended the state's 'Safer at Home' order earlier this week and changes to the order allow for expanded visitation at hospitals, including those operated by the DCH Health System.

The healthcare provider announced Friday that most non-COVID-19 patients will now be allowed a maximum of two (2) visitors. All visitors must be 16 years of age or older and are required to adhere to the hospital's restrictions which include wearing a mask, submitting to health checks before entry, and following all other guidelines.

The updated visitation policy went into effect at 12:01 a.m. today (Saturday, March 6).
