City of Tuscaloosa Breaks Ground on New Alberta Park
The city of Tuscaloosa held a ceremony on a beautiful Friday morning to break ground on a $1.2 million Alberta Park.
Mayor Walt Maddox and District 5 Councilor were on hand at the University Blvd East site to kick off a project that will include a walking path, fountain, and palm trees.
The city expects construction to last about 180 days which puts the completion date around August of 2017. The total cost of the park is estimated at $1.275 million.
