Tuscaloosa municipal leaders are seeking the community's input regarding public transportation in the Druid City.

As a part of Elevate Tuscaloosa, the city is partnering with the Tuscaloosa Transit Authority to create a survey for community members to offer their opinions about the public transit system that is currently in place. City leaders are hoping that the responses they receive will turn into action items to improve the system.

“A robust public transportation system is a pillar of a well-designed city,” Mayor Walt Maddox said in a Monday afternoon press release. “Thanks to Elevate Tuscaloosa, our city is in the position to evaluate our current public transportation system and devote the resources to create and execute a comprehensive plan for improvements.”

According to the release, to incentivize participation, respondents can choose to be entered to win "either two Tuscaloosa Amphitheater concert tickets or a $100 Visa gift card."

The survey is available in electronic and paper form, as well as in English and Spanish. To access the survey, which should not take any longer than 10 minutes to complete, community members can click the links below. For a paper copy, email elevate@tuscaloosa.com.
