Alabama Still No. 1 in Amway Coaches Poll, Will Face No. 14 LSU Next
The top 5 of the latest Amway Coaches Poll remained unchanged but there was plenty of shakeup the rest of the way down.
Alabama made it 10 straight weeks atop the poll by receiving 63 of the 64 first-place votes. Michigan, Clemson, Washington and Louisville round out the top five.
Two of Alabama's future opponents made big jumps this week. Auburn, which won 40-29 at Ole Mis, moved up five spots to No. 12 while LSU also climbed five spots to No. 14. The SEC has five total teams in the poll after Tennessee dropped out.
Baylor and West Virginia both fell out of the top 10 after suffering their first loss of the season.
