2016 CMA Awards Presenters Announced
With the 50th annual CMA Awards quickly approaching, the Country Music Association has announced a list of all-star presenters.
Breakout star Cam and hit songwriter and “Middle of a Memory” singer Cole Swindell have been tapped to present at the 2016 awards show. Cam is nominated for two of the night’s awards, Song of the Year and Music Video of the Year for “Burning House,” and Swindell has earned a nomination as New Artist of the Year.
They'll join acts including “God Bless the USA” singer Lee Greenwood, Country Music Hall of Famer and renowned songwriter Bill Anderson, CMA Award winner and Grease star Olivia Newton-John, the Oak Ridge Boys, Barbara Mandrell and Brenda Lee in presenting the awards.
As in years past, the CMAs will also features presenters outside of the music world, including actor Matthew McConaughey, actresses Jennifer Garner, Lily Tomlin and Sharon Stone, Josh Dallas from ABC’s Once Upon a Time and members of the gold medal-winning 2016 U.S. Women’s Olympic Gymnastics Team Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas, Laurie Hernandez, Madison Kocian and Aly Raisman.
The 2016 CMA Awards will broadcast live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday (Nov. 2) on ABC at 8PM ET.
