I admit it! I am a HUGE fan of The Walmart Neighborhood Market on Skyland and Hargrove. I'm easily in there AT LEAST a couple times a day. The Location, The Selection, The Pricing, & The Convenience, has been a Godsend for those of us who live on the Eastern Part Of Town. It's so nice to be able to shop at any time of the day or night. I personally enjoy grocery shopping in the middle of the night. I can get in and out of there faster, without having to battle other shoppers, (like you would have to do shopping at the REGULAR Walmart). However, that all changed this past Monday Night, when I was greeted with the sign pictured above.

Starting this past Monday, The Walmart Neighborhood Market on Skyland & Hargrove, cut back it's hours from "Open 24 Hours" to "7am to 11pm". Which means, if I want to do any middle of the night grocery shopping, it will have to be done at the REGULAR Walmart!....Ugh!!!  It's ALWAYS a zoo in there, plus it FARTHER away from my house! Needles to say, I'm not thrilled by the news.

I asked a couple of the employees there, "Why the change?" They said it was a managerial decision. But at the same time, I can see some employees being happy about it, because they no longer have to work the graveyard shift.

In any event, I'm going to miss my middle of the night grocery runs, when I had the store all to myself. However, they'll continue to get my business, because it's nice to have a Grocery Store on that part of town.

Although, I still wish they would reconsider. :-)
