After a 3-0 sweep against McNeese this past weekend, Alabama baseball has moved up three spots to No. 22 in Baseball America’s newest poll.

The Tide started out hot Friday afternoon scoring early in the first inning and going on to score eight more runs by the end of the game. Saturday’s game was a thriller ending in a walk off homerun, and Sunday’s game ended in a score 9-5.

Between all three games, seven homeruns were hit between five different players. Owen Diodati and Zane Denton each had two, Praytor, Wilson, and Williamson each got one a piece.

Looking ahead, the Tide plays at Jacksonville State and UT-Martin before the next home series against Wright State starting on Friday, Feb. 26. Conference play doesn’t start until March 19 at No. 6 Arkansas.

Other notable changes in the rankings include Ole Miss moving to the No. 1 spot after beating Texas and Arkansas took a big jump from No. 14 to No. 6.
