The BLT from Pita Pit — Bacon Brew & Que Food Preview

With less than two weeks until Bacon Brew & Que arrives in Tuscaloosa, there are nearly 20 local restaurants perfecting their bacon recipes for the big event.

We will do our best to spotlight as many of the bacon dishes as we can so you can't start planning out your menu.

First up is the BLT from Pita Pit. This traditional sandwich keeps it simple but puts the emphasis on the bacon. With five slices of bacon, crisp lettuce, and fresh tomatoes, the BLT is an American classic. That makes it a perfect choice for Bacon Brew & Que.
