Ranked 13th in college football, Texas A&M is going head to head with the No. 2 ranked Crimson Tide this coming Saturday in Tuscaloosa. Bryant-Denny Stadium is hosting around 20,000 fans due to the COVID-19 restrictions, but fans hope to see a great matchup.

This past Saturday, the Aggies beat the Vanderbilt Commodores by only five points. This loss dropped them down to No. 13 on the polls. Many thought that this game would have gone a lot smoother for the Aggies but that was no the case. This shaky performance has Aggie fans worried about this weeks matchup against the Tide. Not only does it have fans worried, but also the coaching staff.

Jimbo Fisher mentioned in an interview after Saturday's game that both sides of the ball had some major defects throughout the entirety of the game. The Aggies had three turnovers and eight penalties Saturday. It is important that they fix these problems before going up against one of the top teams in college football this weekend.

"It’s always a measuring stick when you play Alabama, as far as where you stand on the national scene. They’ve been at the top of it for so long. We’ve got to keep developing, keep on the plan, which we are and I think we’re doing a good job of, but you still got to step up and play well in these games and find ways to win the games," said Fisher.

Nick Saban  mentioned the great job that Fisher has done for Texas A&M and showed great respect for him as a coach in a teleconference Wednesday afternoon.

Alabama is currently a 17.5 point favorite going into this week's game. The game will be presented at 2:30 p.m. on CBS and Tide 100.9 will offer radio coverage beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday Oct. 3.
